You may recall that about this time last year I spent nearly every waking moment involved in the production of an independent film, in the great Australian tradition of exploitation horror. Well, I'm extremely excited to announce that "EL MONSTRO DEL MAR!" is nearly here, and we're hosting the premiere at the beautiful Astor theatre in St. Kilda on April 9th.
I would like to extend an invitation to you all to attend this event and support the local film industry, and to kick start the party I'm giving away a double pass to the screening!
So, get enthused, watch the trailer (at the bottom of this post) and tell me:
What is the name of the old man character played by Norman Yemm?
Email me - email@example.com - with your answer, I'll draw this time next week (Sunday 14th Feb). Conditions are that you must be 18+ and in Melbourne at the time of the screening. There'll be beer, bands and a chance to interact with the cast and crew.
Should you be interested in bringing a crowd of roaring fans along (and believe me, you should, it's toted as the cult event of the season) you can get tickets here, or visit the website.
