Cheers Bergs for photo-ing me!

I've decided that the pattern on this Three Floor skirt is fish skin, which pleases me no end. Also pleased with the fact that, by throwing a jumper and a loose layer over it, a fully sequinned pastel confection becomes a perfectly appropriate choice for daytime in winter (in my world, anyway. I love working in fashion, the dress codes are so easy to adhere to). Can't wait to rock it with a plain white tee when the weather warms up a bit though!

jumper - country road
tee - willow
skirt - three floor from poppy lissiman addition
sunnies/necklace - vintage
bag - furla
shoes - melissa

PS. Gaby from one of my favourite blogs, Spokes 'n' Daggers, kindly invited me to partake in her 'top 5' segment this week so you can see what I chose here!

I was at the table next to you at the fab sushi place over the weekend - but was far too shy to say Hello! You are such a stylish lady, and I love your blog...

Loving the fish skin! I completely agree with the outfit becoming perfect daywear with your additions.

Love the way you've styled your new skirt - it's beautiful!

And definitely appropriate daywear with the addition of the knits :)

I love the way you've styled such a shiny shiny skirt so that its totally daywear appropriate, but I hope you weren't walking around too early with bare legs like that, it's been so cold in the mornings lately!!

Anon - how good was that sushi? Pricey but the tuna sashimi was aaaaaawesome. I guarantee you I'm completely socially awkward in real life so completely understand shyness, but if you see me again (as is bound to happen in Perth!) I'd love to meet you!

And thanks everyone, I can see this skirt being on high rotation! Ahh haha Strout after Melbourne winters I am revelling in not having to wear stockings!

I fucking love this ensemble! The darker colours or the jumper and tee paired with the accessories making the skirt the focus - Genius!

I am going to be thinking about that print for weeks now!
