I'm not an Olympics watcher myself (the brief moments I saw of the opening ceremony were, quite frankly, ludicrous, & I'd rather be out running than observing people running), but one can't help but jump on board with theming when the rest of the world is doing it. My (possibly not as practical but definitely more fashionable) take on (the only) five (proper Olympic) sports (that I could represent in prop form), for Elle boutique.

Swimming (in Mara Hoffman)
Rowing (in Acne, Markus Lupfer & Alexander Wang)
Tennis (in Equipment & Rachel Gilbert)
Boxing (in Isabel Marant, Bassike & Moncler)
Badminton (in Celine, Rick Owens & Mara Hoffman)

I'm pretty happy with how this concept turned out - there wasn't much lead time & I was worried it might look a bit hokey - but I'm slowly learning that these windows require grand scale, not minute detail. The badminton window is my secret favourite. Highfash-goth-sport? Haha! Ridiculous, awesome & definitely not put into play enough in the real world.
