I was very lucky to have the opportunity to photograph some of the garments exhibited in Unveiled: 200 Years of Wedding Glamour at the Western Australian Museum in partnership with the V&A at the launch recently. The launch event itself was a bit painful - endless speeches and the worst contemporary dance piece I've ever seen (and believe me, I've seen some shockers) - but the exhibition is FABULOUS, some really spectacular pieces exploring the origin of the white wedding gown. Highly recommended for vintage enthusiasts, brides-to-be, designers...(it'd be a good mum outing, they have a cute high tea service). Even if, like me, you don't quite subscribe to the cult of bride it's hard not to get wrapped up in the magic!
